Terms of engagement

These terms set out the basis on which Aurevixos provides interior design and consultancy services in Australia. By engaging our services you agree to these terms, our fee schedule, and our project scope documented at the time of proposal.

  • Scope of work and deliverables agreed in writing prior to commencement.
  • Design fees, deposits, and payment milestones are stated in proposals.
  • Variations are documented and billed where additional work is required.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — key points

Aurevixos complies with the Australian Consumer Law. Below is a quick guide on your consumer rights and how they relate to design services.

Services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the specified purpose and delivered within a reasonable time. If these guarantees are not met you may be entitled to remedies including re-performance or refund.

Refund eligibility depends on service stage and deliverables. Where work has been completed proportionate fees may apply. We will always seek to resolve valid consumer claims promptly.

Where a service fails to meet guarantees, Aurevixos will offer prompt re-performance. If re-performance is not possible or fails, a refund or other remedy may be provided in line with ACL guidance.

Data, privacy & records

We collect project and contact information to provide services and manage contracts. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Retention periods and access requests follow Australian privacy principles.

If you require records or an access request, contact our studio and we will respond within statutory timeframes.

Project documentation

Intellectual property & usage

Design concepts, drawings, material palettes and imagery produced by Aurevixos remain our intellectual property until full payment is received and licence terms are agreed. Clients are granted a limited licence to use deliverables for the agreed project and address only.

Reuse, reproduction or publication outside the agreed scope requires our written permission.

Complaints & dispute resolution

We aim to resolve concerns directly and quickly. If you are dissatisfied, please submit the form and we will acknowledge within 5 business days. For unresolved matters you may contact external dispute resolution bodies in Australia.

External dispute bodies

  • For unresolved consumer disputes you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your state consumer protection agency.
  • We will cooperate fully with formal investigations and external dispute resolution.

Limitation of liability & governing law

To the extent permitted by law, Aurevixos's liability for breach of these terms is limited to re-performance of services or refund of fees for the affected part of the service. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
